How it all started...
New Beginnings Church was a plant that was birthed in Santa Maria, California in May of 2004 by Pastor Larry and Maria.
ABOUT THE PASTORS:
Pastor Larry and Maria came to Lord because God did a miracle in their daughter Sarah, who was diagnosed at birth with a severe heart problem. This Dr. report took Maria to a small church that believed that God was in the miracle working business. The heart that received a miracle that day was Maria's, and after experiencing a radical conversion, six months later her baby girl Sarah received her miracle without surgery or treatment.
This miracle was the beginnings of their journey of healing and transformation and soon after Pastor Larry's also had a radical conversion and together they began their walk with God in faith and a passion in serving a living and powerful God who is the miracle worker.
Pastor Larry and Maria served on Staff at Santa Maria Foursquare church for seven years before, they sensed Gods call on their lives to plant a church in the city that they love and were born and raised in. In 2004 New Beginnings Church was birthed out of their home and they began this journey together to see broken people healed and transformed in the presence of a mighty God.
Their desire to see people from all walks of life, healed, restored, and walking in their God given destiny was the motivation they used to propel them forward,
As their children grew up, it was a normal occurrence to see the entire family serving in the church with joy.
Their family will still be seen serving in various capacities in the church.
The foundational scripture for the New Beginnings church from its inception is based on Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today and forever.
Pastor Larry was is full-time ministry for 29 years and in 2025 Pastor Larry entered into his reward and the mandate given to the Tajon's is now being carried on by his wife Pastor Maria, her son Pastor Matt and minister/prophet Fabien Garcia who ministers along side of her.
